Stabbing in downtown Montreal leaves man with serious injuries

A man in his 40s is in serious condition after being stabbed overnight Friday in Montreal’s Ville-Marie borough.
The man suffered multiple injuries. He collapsed in front of several witnesses on Cartier St., south of Ontario St.
The circumstances surrounding the assault are not known at this time. Investigators will interview the victim when his health permits.
No suspects have been arrested.
