St. Patrick's Day Parade: Near-perfect weather expected for 195th edition

The 195th edition of Montreal’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set to begin at noon on Sunday.
While the parade’s traditional route has been altered for the first time in 50 years (due to major construction on Ste-Catherine. St. W.) it remains Canada’s longest-running parade. Besides serving as a celebration of all things Irish and the community’s deep roots in Montreal, it also serves as a reminder to many that spring is right around the corner.
