SQ officer suspended 35 days without pay after injuring three protesters in 2012

A Sûreté du Québec constable blamed by the province’s police ethics committee for having injured three protesters during a demonstration in Victoriaville in May of 2012 has been suspended for 35 days without pay.
Denis Burelle was found by the committee not to have used his projectile launcher with “prudence and discernment” during the incident. Ethics commissioner Richard Uticone ordered the sanction based on a joint recommendation from all parties aft
