Snowmobiler dies after hitting tree in Gaspé

A snowmobiler from Gaspé died early Friday morning after losing control of his vehicle in a curve and striking a tree. 
The accident happened on Chemin du Père-Watier, in Gaspé, around 2 a.m.
According to the Sûreté du Québec, the man and a female passenger, both in their 30s, were launched from the snowmobile after hitting the tree.
