Sleeman-Unibroue union members ratify agreement in principle

Eighty Sleeman-Unibroue factory workers will begin returning to work on Monday after giving tentative approval for a new five-year deal.
Employees began a general strike on June 7. Their previous collective agreement expired in December 2016. 
Seniority and overtime were among the contested issues. 
The Sleeman-Unibroue factory in Chambly is home to such labels as La Maudite, Fin du Monde, Blanche de Chambly, Sleeman and Sapporo.
