Skatepark to be built in Mile-End

Mile End will be getting a new skatepark next spring as part of the Plateau-Mont-Royal’s plan to create a green corridor along the northern edge of the neighbourhood.
The skatepark, set to be built under the Van Horne-Rosemont viaduct bordered by St-Laurent Blvd. and Cloutier St., will include two distinct areas for skateboarders: a flat-ground, street-style park with ledges and rails, and a serpentine concrete pool.
