Severe thunderstorm watch issued at tail end of heat wave

The good news is the extreme heat warning Montrealers woke up to on Wednesday morning will probably be lifted Wednesday afternoon.
The bad news is we’ll probably have to endure a severe thunderstorm before we get there.
The cooler temperatures expected later Wednesday are forecast to push a string of thunderstorms ahead of them before they get here.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch at a little before 10 a.m. Wednesday for the areas of Châteauguay—La Prairie
