Senators forward Chris DiDomenico takes long route to NHL

OTTAWA — Never give up on your dream.
That’s the message from Senators forward Chris DiDomenico, who made his NHL debut last spring at age 28.
DiDomenico’s path to the NHL has been a circuitous route. The Toronto native was ignored in the OHL draft and played four seasons in the QMJHL with Saint John and Drummondville.
He put up good numbers in junior, but was only a sixth-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2007.
