Schukov: Should leaf blowers be banned? You have to ask?

So Beaconsfield is popping the old “penny for your thoughts” at residents, with regards to their opinions on leaf blowers. In plain English, the city wants to know if locals have or have no problem putting up with ear-aching, smoke-belching, dust-kicking annoyances run by those who would sooner use a gallon of gas to push a leaf 12 feet. The alternative – pick it up – is not on the latter’s radar.
