Safe-drinking ad sends mixed message during Pride week

An attempt by Éduc’alcool to promote responsible drinking and celebrate Pride week appears to have backfired.
In an ad on its Facebook page, the advocacy group posted a picture of the rainbow flag under the French slogan #FêteTonChoix (celebrate your choice). Éduc’alcool previously used the slogan to encourage moderation while drinking, but the combination of the word “choice” and the Pride flag send what many consider an unfortunate message.
