Rights commission loses interim boss after sex-assault probe

Quebec’s Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (CDPDJ) has lost another president.
Interim-president Camil Picard has withdrawn from the post in the wake of an article in La Presse reporting he was investigated in connection with sexual assaults committed in the 1980s.
Picard had succeeded Tamara Thermitus, whose term was cut short by allegations over her management style and the work environment under her leadership.
