Recreational pot: Public asked for input at hearings in Montreal

Quebec will hold two days of public consultations this week on how to regulate recreational marijuana.
The hearings, presided over by Public Health Minister Lucie Charlebois, will take place Thursday (9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.) and Friday (8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at Montreal’s Palais des Congrès.
Business groups, organizations and members of the public are being asked for their input as Canada gears up for the legalization of pot in July 2018.
