Recent drowning near Verdun Beach exposes issues around awareness, rescue logistics

The borough mayor for Verdun says there's a need for more secure access points to the water, after a fourth person in just over a year drowned near Verdun Beach. Meanwhile, the Montreal's firefighters' association says it doesn't have the necessary tools to conduct water rescues.
