Real Estate: Montreal sales up 9% in third quarter

The number of properties sold in the Montreal region rose nine per cent during the three-month period that ended Sept. 30, when compared to the same quarter last year, the Quebec Federation of Real Estate Boards said on Friday. 
It says this is the 14th consecutive quarter of increases in property sales.
