Rain and warm weather heighten Quebec's flood risk

A combination of rain falling on southwest Quebec as well as high temperatures expected later this week could combine to cause flooding in several regions of the province, public security officials warn.
Pierre Corbin, operations director at Hydro Météo, says water levels are particularly high in the Eastern Townships, the Beauce, the Outaouais region, the Montérégie and in the Quebec City area.
