Équipe Denis Coderre renamed Mouvement Montréal

The party formally known as Équipe Denis Coderre is now Mouvement Montréal.
The municipal party was forced to change its name after its namesake, former mayor Denis Coderre, was defeated in the Nov. 5 municipal elections by Valérie Plante and immediately resigned from municipal politics.
Party leader Lionel Perez announced the new name at a press conference at city hall Monday accompanied by the members of his caucus. The new moniker represents the party’s will to move
