Quebec Superior Court gets 2 new judges, 1 specializing in terror cases
Federal Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould on Tuesday named two new justices to Quebec Superior Court, one of them a specialist in prosecuting cases dealing with terrorism.
Lyne Décarie, a lawyer with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC), has overseen numerous terrorism cases. She will hear cases in Montreal.
The second new judge is Guylaine Duplessis of Duplessis Robillard Avocats, who will also sit in the district of Montreal.
