Quebec singer Luck Mervil pleads guilty to sexually exploiting a minor

Quebec singer-songwriter Luck Mervil has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a minor when he was at the ‎height of his popularity in the 1990s.
Mervil, 50, was charged under his full ‎name, Luckerson Mervil, in 2014.
He rose to popularity during the 1990s as the leader of the group RudeLuck. He parlayed that success into gaining the role of Clopin in the popular production of Notre-Dame de Paris when the musical opened in Montreal in 1999.
