Quebec road-race 'winner' — clocked at 232 km/h — arrested in Nova Scotia
A 19-year-old Quebecer arrested Saturday in Nova Scotia in the aftermath of a local road race was clocked at the highest speed ever recorded locally on radar, police say.
The RCMP say the driver’s peak speed — before his arrest, ticketing and vehicle confiscation — was 232 kilometres per hour in a 110 km/hr speed zone.
