Quebec public security ministry bogged down with flood victim cases

Quebec’s Department of Public Security is overwhelmed by the amount of work this spring’s floods have caused, and the analysis of the flood cases alone will only be completed in five weeks, according to Minister Martin Coiteux.
Coiteux held a press conference Tuesday morning, the day after holding public consultations in 17 municipalities, some of which are home to frustrated flood victims.
