Quebec mosque shooting: Crown wants 150-year sentence for Bissonnette
QUEBEC — The Crown says Alexandre Bissonnette, who killed six Muslim men in the Quebec City mosque shooting last year, should get life sentence with no chance for parole for 150 years — the harshest sentence since Canada abolished death penalty.
Crown prosecutor Thomas Jacques told Quebec Superior Court Justice François Huot that Bissonnette’s crimes were unprecedented in Canadian history.
