Quebec maple syrup producers planning for another sweet season

After recording unprecedented sales for their product last year, Quebec’s maple syrup producers are planning for another sweet season as it kicks off on Tuesday.
According to the Fédération des producteurs acéricoles du Québec, last year was a high-water mark for sales, with more than 118 million pounds of product sold, a 100-per-cent increase compared with seven years ago.
