Quebec emergency rooms overflowing during holiday season
Many Quebec hospital emergency rooms are overflowing this holiday season, mostly due to flu cases.
The occupancy rate is exceeding 100 per cent in several hospitals.
In Montreal, the rate is at 102 per cent at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and 139 per cent at Fleury Hospital.
In Quebec City, the rate has reached 109 per cent at the CHUL and 115 per cent at Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus.
