Quebec election: PQ 'Made in Quebec' message derailed by Blanc controversy

As the Parti-Québécois presented its economic policy Monday morning that centred on a “Made in Quebec” label, Leader Jean-François Lisée once again had to sidestep questions about embattled Mercier candidate Michelle Blanc.
On Sunday, Blanc turned down an invitation to be an honorary co-president of the annual gala by LGBTQ+ organization Équipe Montréal after the group distanced itself from Blanc because of online comments she made
