Quebec election: Couillard stands with Ouellette despite CAQ revelation

ST-PROSPER/RIVIÈRE-DU-LOUP — Liberal Leader Philippe Couillard re-affirmed his confidence in Chomedey candidate Guy Ouellette after it was revealed that he leaked information to rival Coalition Avenir Québec.
Speaking to reporters Thursday morning, Couillard repeated several times that he would continue to support Ouellette’s candidacy and welcome him into the fold of the Liberal party if he wins re-election on Monday.
