Quebec election: Couillard heads home to formalize candidacy

ROBERVAL — Liberal leader Philippe Couillard headed back to his riding on Saturday, but it wasn’t to take a day off.
On Sunday morning, he filed the necessary signatures and signed the paperwork to officially be a candidate in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean riding of Roberval.
Then he made his promises for the riding, a series of plans mostly focused on economic development.
