Quebec election: CAQ pledges $5 million for Alzheimer's research

SAINT-SAUVEUR — Coalition Avenir Québec says it will increase provincial funding into Alzheimer’s research by $5 million a year, and reopen the debate on advanced consent for medically assisted deaths for those suffering from Alzheimer’s and related diseases.
CAQ candidates Marguerite Blais and François Bonnardel made the announcements in St-Sauveur Monday morning. Leader François Legault was absent, preparing for Monday evening’s English-language lea
