Quebec AI group makes Ottawa's list of five tech 'superclusters'

Federal Innovation Minister Navdeep Bains on Thursday named five technology groups — one of them in Quebec — that will each get a piece of up to $950 million in funding for what the government calls its “superclusters” initiative.
In Quebec, the AI supercluster, headed by Quebec City-based Groupe Optel with the support of more than 80 partners, will work on building intelligent supply chains through artificial intelligence and robotics.
