Premier Philippe Couillard blasts François Legault for comments on asylum seekers

Coalition Avenir Québec leader François Legault is needlessly stirring up fears about immigrants with his recent remarks about the influx of asylum seekers in Quebec, Premier Philippe Couillard says.
In a strongly-worded statement issued Thursday by his office, Couillard rips into Legault and says Quebecers expect their politicians to show leadership in times of crisis, avoiding what the premier called alarmist remarks such as those made by the CAQ leader Wednesday.
