Power restored after outage hits McGill University

Power has been restored to 3,700 Hydro-Québec customers in a downtown area that includes about 10 McGill University buildings.
The power went out at 12:11 p.m. and was back at about 2:30 p.m., a Hydro spokesperson said. The outage was caused by an equipment breakdown in the utility’s underground network. 
The power failure affected McGill buildings on University Ave. and Hutchison and Durocher Sts.
