Police suspect towing company extorted seniors

Seven individuals were arrested on Tuesday morning in connection with allegations of fraud, conspiracy, extortion, and one case of assault with a weapon at Laval towing company, Accès Remorquage.
Police suspect the company was preying on vulnerable citizens, including the elderly and those who are sick, by towing from parking lots of medical centres.
Inspector André Durocher with the Montreal police explained that the investigation began last fall when citizens filed complaints abo
