Police probe suspicious fire in Verdun

The Montreal police arson squad has been called in to investigate a fire that broke out after midnight Thursday in an abandoned residential building in the borough of Verdun.
Firefighters were called to the building on Argyle St. at 12:05 a.m. and, after evacuating neighbouring buildings, were able to bring the fire under control.
