Police chase ends in crash, leaving suspect dead in Sorel-Tracy

A 20-year-old man who was the subject of a police chase died after his vehicle crashed in Sorel-Tracy.
The man’s SUV was intercepted at 6:10 a.m. by a Sûreté du Québec squad car because of a Highway Code violation, but the driver refused to stop, sparking a pursuit, police said.
