Police arrest suspect in two armed robberies committed 10 minutes apart

A 19-year-old man was in police custody Wednesday in the wake of a pair of armed robberies committed in Longueuil Tuesday night.
The first robbery occurred at a store on Bellerose St. in the city’s Vieux Longueuil district around 10 p.m. , during which an employee suffered non-life-threatening injuries as the suspect emptied the contents of the cash register.
