Police arrest suspect from 20-year-old attempted murder case

The suspect in an attempted murder that took place 20 years ago has been arrested by Laval police.
Police say that Sylvain Belisle, 50, entered the Ste-Rose home of a man, who was a Quebec correctional officer at the time on the evening of Aug. 11, 1995. The victim awoke from his sleep as he was being stabbed in the abdomen. 
Laval police spokesperson Geneviève Major said that the victim’s name was not being released as he did not with to have his name associated with
