Plante to meet baseball promoters Friday

Mayor Valérie Plante says she’s looking forward to meeting Stephen Bronfman and Mitch Garber on Friday to discuss the return of a Montreal baseball franchise.
“In the next few days, I’ll be meeting the main promoters of the project to bring back baseball to Montreal,” Plante said Wednesday morning during a meeting of the city’s executive committee.
