Plans for new transport centre in Bellechasse underway

The Bellechasse area will receive a new transport centre for the Société de transport de Montréal, thanks to the authorization of a borrowing by-law, the city of Montreal announced Tuesday.
The city plans to invest $254 million into the construction of the Bellechasse Transport Centre, and it will be put in service at the beginning of 2022, according to a press release from the city.
Montreal’s executive committee is set to authorize the by-law on Wednesday.
