Pincourt’s Yvan Cardinal among four Off-Island acclamations

Four Off-Island mayors have been acclaimed to serve another term in office.
Pincourt’s Yvan Cardinal, Claude Pilon of Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac, Michel Bourdeau of Terrasse-Vaudreuil and Danie Deschêsnes of Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot were all elected by acclamation. 
The nomination period for the Nov. 5 municipal elections ended Friday.
Cardinal has been mayor of Pincourt since 2009.
Deschêsnes was first elected mayor of Notre-Dame in a by-election in 2014.
