Philippe Couillard reaches out to English-speaking community
Premier Philippe Couillard called on Quebec’s English-speaking community on Sunday to stay faithful to the Liberal Party in October’s election, touting his government’s efforts on its behalf.
Those include the creation of a secretariat of anglophone affairs, headed by Minister Kathleen Weil, and an English-language committee on access to health and social services.
