Businessman turned Quebec Liberal campaign chair Alexandre Taillefer believes media mogul Pierre Karl Péladeau exerts a “certain influence” on the work carried out by reporters and columnists at the Journal de Montréal.
Taillefer made the assertion during an interview Wednesday on 98.5 FM radio.
Péladeau, a former leader of the Parti Québécois, is controlling shareholder of the Quebecor media chain that includes the Journal de Montréal.
