Parti Québécois caucus picks Pascal Bérubé interim leader

QUEBEC — Battered and bruised, the remaining Parti Québécois MNAs have selected Matane-Matapédia MNA Pascal Bérubé as their interim party leader.
The party made the announcement Tuesday following a closed-door caucus.
Bérubé, an MNA since 2007 and house leader for the PQ the past two years, replaces Jean-François Lisée, who quit on election night after the PQ crashed along with the Liberals in the general election.
