Ottawa and Quebec to spend $62.4 million on Longueuil public transit

Ottawa and Quebec will spend nearly $63 million on improving public transit in Longueuil, government officials announced Thursday.
The Réseau de transport de Longueuil, the city’s transit authority, will see 34 projects funded by both levels of government, including improvements to maintenance facilities, the installation of Wi-Fi on buses and the purchase of 40 hybrid buses — 30 of which will be deployed on the well-travelled 90 route.
