“Pas capable, pas capable,” the 58-year-old man says, in the clip on the radio. He was fatally shot last June after police responded to a complaint that he was breaking things and shouting in his apartment.
“I can’t, I can’t.” These are the words my teenage son utters when the demons come. While noises he can’t silence echo in his head and panic rises in
