Opinion: CAQ's school governance plan respects English community's rights
A few weeks ago, the Coalition Avenir Québec unveiled a comprehensive policy on the important issue of the governance of the education system in Quebec.
One of the proposals in this plan, as you may have read in these pages (“School boards are key to English education rights” Opinion, May 1) and elsewhere, proposes the abolition of school boards, the elimination of elections of school trustees and the creation, in their place, of service centres for schools.
