Opinion: Camping provides perspective and teaches resilience
My family never went camping again after a trip to we took to Prince Edward Island. It rained for an entire week. We couldn’t keep our Coleman stove lit long enough to cook anything, and so my Dad drove out one night to find civilization and bring us back Kentucky Fried Chicken.
