Opinion: Bill 62 a victory for forces of division

Earlier this year, I stood in the front row of Maurice Richard Arena and watched Premier Philippe Couillard deliver one of the most eloquent, articulate and seemingly heartfelt speeches I’d heard in a long time.
Couillard stood shoulder to shoulder with members of the Montreal Muslim community, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mayor Denis Coderre and spoke about a community in pain. Our community as Quebecers. Our community as Canadians.
