Montreal is, more than most, a city that embraces its vices — which is what made Friday, Oct. 26, one of the more remarkable days of 2018.
That morning, management of the Société Québécoise du cannabis announced that the provincial government-run marijuana stores — which had been overwhelmed by demand since the legalization of cannabis just nine days earlier — would be closed that day and would reopen only Thursdays through Sundays until it coul
