No more bouncing around: OQLF rules on trampoline gender
Quebec’s French-language watchdog has finally ruled: Francophones are not in error if they bounce up on le trampoline and then fall to earth toward la trampoline.
The object in question can in fact be referred to in French in both the masculine and feminine gender without error, the agency says, because “both genders are possible.”
