New 367 area code coming to eastern Quebec in November

Starting on Nov. 24, the area code 367 will be introduced in the eastern Quebec region currently served by the area codes 418 and 581.
The Telecommunications Alliance said that this measure is necessary to respond to the growing demand for new telephone numbers in the region. The introduction of a third area code will permit the supply of telephone numbers to meet the current and future needs of individuals and businesses, it said.
