Move deadline for winter tires to Dec. 1: CAA-Québec

The CAA supports the Quebec government’s intention of moving up the deadline for installing winter tires to Dec. 1 from Dec. 15.
The deadline should be based on the weather, and the earlier date would fit Quebec’s reality better, as snow and cold weather set in more quickly in some regions, said CAA-Québec spokesperson Annie Gauthier.
